Cutwork sits on the suit. You place the piece where you want it and stitch it on that is the usual way it is used. It is not for running along a hem like milky or jhalar. The open shape is the point, so it shows best on plain or lightly worked fabric. If the suit is already busy, cutwork can disappear. Colour and yard price are on each listing so you can judge how much you need before cutting.
Decide where on the suit it will sit, then order enough yardage with a little spare. Buy continuous length if the design has to line up. Match the shade to the suit fabric in daylight white especially shifts on screen.
